Description
D impact device tester is fully integrated and is designed for use for metals from 5mm thickness.
This "Basic" kit includes basics to get you started; tester, cleaning brush, USB cable, small support ring etc.
The TH-170 Portable Hardness Tester with updated and advanced features, following Leebs principle. The main features include the use of regular AAA batteries to eliminate the need for recharging or replacing old, dead Ni-MH battery packs later; USB interface for data transfer to your PC via Windows HyperTerminal, automatic identification of impact direction which reduces your measuring errors as a result of wrong settings, backlight display for use in dark areas, and much more.
It has the ability to provide results in the most common hardness scales such as Rockwell HRC and HRB, Brinell, Vickers, Leeb and more.
With an integrated Universal D-type Impact device, the TH-170 utilizes state-of-the-art micro-electronic technology, comes with a pocket sized carrying case and incorporates a hardness impact probe, microprocessor and data display in a single, ergonmically designed, compact unit.
The Portable Hardness Tester TH-170 provides exceptional reliability and accuracy for a wide measuring range, and is capable of automatically converting and displaying measurements into Brinell, Rockwell, Leebs, Vickers and Shore hardness values.
Conforming to ASTM A956 standard, the TH-170 Portable Hardness Tester covers an extensive range of applications in the industry and supply the required test results, in almost every application, where bench-top hardness testers can not be used. As a result of following the Leebs rebound principle, the minimum requirements that have to be met in order to achieve accuracy with TH170, are minimum thickness of 3/8" (10mm) and weight of 11lb (5kg) for the samples.
